About Me!

It's always been you.
I'll first tell you about us, and then I'll tell you about me- because one is nothing without the other :)
If you were to know all the details of mine and David's love story, you would think that "The Notebook" was written about us.  This coming March it will have been 10 years since the first time we dated and it will be roughly 21 years since we first met.  We met as kids on the military base of Ft. Irwin.  Our dad's worked together and our families were very close, we went on vacations together, had many family events together, and his sister even babysat me- which caused him to have to walk me to school a time or two :)  I think it's only fitting that we will be married in March and our Love finally come full circle- with a baby in the baby carriage.

In April of 2013 we welcomed the most beautiful little girl in the entire world!  Her name is Olive Marie and is named after two of my great grandmothers... the name has always been dear to me and it is only fitting because her soul is amazing and so special!  She is hopefully the first of more children to come! (After the wedding!!!!)

I have the most amazing parents ever.   I was an only child in a military family! We went through a lot together and have become so close because of it! I wouldn't be who I am without them!

Which leads to me :)  I'm a 28 year old Ph.D. who loves life and have enough energy for a room full of people.

Former triathlete.... (Which I will hopefully be back into training and racing for the 2014 season!)

Crafter, scrapbooker, artist, and seamstress...

 Life of the party.....

Excited about everything especially holidays..... (like seriously- think Will Ferrel as Elf)

Mommy who is constantly in the limbo of trying to be a "Ph.D. career woman", "wanna-be pinterest bad-ass".... and a perfect mom, homemaker, and athlete.  It's a constant struggle to have my gluten-free-don't-to-my-ass-cake and eat it too but maybe this blog will help me realize I can have it all and can share all of who I was and will be with you!
